We at DM Shopping Centres Inc. respect your right to personal privacy. As a result this policy has been developed to comply with the Canadian Personal Information Protection and Electronics Documents Act to safeguard against the disclosure of your information without your consent.

What is Personal Information?
Personal Information is any information that identifies an individual, an individuals’ residence or information about an individual including name, age, postal and e-mail addresses, phone number, banking or credit card information, opinions and comments.

Collecting and Using Personal Information
If you enter a contest or other promotion offered by DM Shopping Centres Inc. your Personal Information will be used to administer the promotion including the use of your information for the purpose of contacting and promoting the winner of the promotion.

Your personal information may be collected and used to communicate with you regarding the administration of your lease, if you are a tenant of the centre, or about your inquiries about becoming a tenant of the centre.

If you have a concern about the operation of our centre we may collect your Personal Information so that your concern can be given to the proper DM Shopping Centres Inc. employee, or our insurance provider so your concern can be dealt with in an efficient manner. Your information will be retained for as long as necessary to remedy your concern and allow DM Shopping Centres Inc. to provide necessary follow-up communications.

We may be required to obtain your Social Insurance Number if obligated by the federal government pursuant to the Income Tax Act. Your personal information may also be collected and used to administer your payroll with Ceridian Canada Ltd. and your payroll benefits with Canada Life and Alberta Health Care.

Unless required or permitted by law, DM Shopping Centres Inc. will not sell or trade your personal information to other third parties.

DM Shopping Centres Inc. will only ask for information that we require and will only ask for it when needed. When we ask for your information we will inform you of the reason we need it and what we will do with your information. In the daily course of business, access to Personal Information is limited to those employees with a legitimate reason for accessing it.
